“We loved it. It is in a very quiet residential area and quite close to the Camino de Santiago, which was a big advantage for us as pilgrims. We were able to enjoy the little garden in the sunshine. The house is much better in person than in the photos: big, spacious, very comfortable and looked after down to the last detail. The host was attentive to us the whole time. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.”
“Without a doubt the best house on my whole Camino de Santiago. It's on the edge of town, but it's very comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. It has a washing machine and a dryer.”
“This was a more than perfect stay. José's house is a beautiful mansion: bright, spacious and clean, a dream home. Spacious bedrooms, very comfortable beds and a superb kitchen. I truly recommend staying at this house in Portomarín without a second thought. José is a first-class host: his recommendations about the house, the area and the whole Camino were amazing.”
“Very well located in Portomarín, a quiet place to rest after a hard stage. I couldn't find the house, but as soon as I called they answered and I found it straight away. If I walked the Camino again I would choose it without thinking twice. I give it a 10 for everything. It felt like being in my own home.”
“A spectacular house: clean, very comfortable and well located, with a big lawn terrace and a great kitchen and bathrooms. No detail is missing, and the washing machine and dryer are a real blessing when you are walking the Camino. 100% recommended.”
“Fantastic accommodation in Portomarín. Unbeatable location, close to everything and in a quiet area. The terrace is spectacular, with wonderful views over the town and the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. We were very comfortable and would come back without hesitation. Highly recommended.”
“The accommodation is a 10 in every way, and after a few days sleeping in pilgrim hostels it is much appreciated. It is fully equipped, with everything you need and more. We would love to come back just to stay there! We also had a problem (our own fault) with one of our backpacks, and the host helped us enormously. Truly a 10.”
“Wonderful accommodation! Everything ready and comfortable, whether you are on the Camino or spending a few days exploring the area. Lots of thoughtful touches so you don't need anything, and the hosts are very attentive. Noted for next time!”
“It has the best views in Portomarín. A very spacious apartment, and cleanliness and comfort are a 10. Recommended if you are walking the Camino as a group.”
